Casa das Xacias is located in the very heart of the Ribeira Sacra. There is a fairy tale-scented legend about this house which everyone will certainly find most interesting. Casa das Xacias has been refurbished with special care and dedication, and it is now our pride and pleasure to open its doors to our visitors as we are certain they will appreciate its charm as much as its privileged surroundings.

The house has 6 rooms (3 twin and 3 double), all equipped with bathroom and television.The rooms are impressive in their formal and stylistic variety.
The bathrooms are comfortable and cheerful. Warmth guaranteed.
The decoration is simple albeit elegant. All rooms are EXTERNAL. Their details are best appreciated with natural light. Each and one of them has a unique personality, in such a way that sometimes it is not easy to choose among them.
We also offer 3 suppletory beds for children of up to 12 years as well as a baby crib. Please let us know if you required these items when booking.
.: COMMON AREAS:.
Our large lounge is the most outstanding and magical space of the house. The natural warmth from the fireplace is a pleasure to the senses and brings to the memory stories of xacias, wolves, witches and demons.
The lounge is situated in the old shed of the house. It is equipped with a library, television set, video-player, DVD-player and a collection of movies for all ages. Table games are also available. The walls of the dining room offer amazing views of the RIBEIRA SACRA. The beauty of its landscape is also shown in a photographic exhibition.
The hall is a former farmyard with a wooden corridor. In the old days it embraced the cattle and held labour items such as wooden carts. It keeps its traditional structure, an open space leading to the stables and the household. One of the walls boasts a massive painting byCorrea Corredoira. The straw or stone floor has been replaced by slate tiles. The structure of the house can be entirely appreciated from here.
Outside the house there is a PORCHE with barbecue and a big garden, quintessential to spend a most peaceful time enjoying the extraordinary landscape.
.: THE KITCHEN AND HOUSE SERVICES :.
The kitchen is fully equipped to make you feel entirely at home: dish-washer, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, hanger and iron.
The dining room has tableware from Sargadelos, as well as cutlery, glasses, tablecloth and music to create a relaxing atmosphere for meals.
In the bedrooms, all beds are provided with cotton sheets and linen coverlets. The service includes clean sheets and towels.
Heating and firewood for the chimney or the barbecue are available, and also season garden products.
